J Chris Gray
Architect – Principal
Chris’ design philosophy is centered on the principle that honest and transparent communication and collaboration are essential to the successful integration of design, technology, and professional service found within the practice of architecture.
His multi-disciplinary background is vital to creating progressive design solutions and advancing sustainable construction methods. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and received an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Chris earned his Masters of Architecture from the University of Colorado, Denver. He is a co-founder of bldg.collective, a licensed Architect in the State of Colorado and is a certified RESNET Home Energy Rater.
Chris has called Colorado home for over 20 years and loves being involved in the evolution of the design community of the Front Range. He and his family can be seen around South Boulder walking their dog Fozzie, biking to the local ice cream or coffee shop or just hanging out in the backyard. Chris has a lifelong love for live music, a vinyl record addiction and is an avid tennis player.
